About the role

Bedford Medical Clinic's Practice Nurses work collaboratively to assist doctors within the NSQHS accredited Day Surgery and also assist within the General Practice with ROS, wound dressings, general immunizations and preventative skin cancer treatment. The Nurse Manager would oversee the various nursing aspects of the clinic as well as work within the day surgery to assist with skin surgery under local anaesthetic.

Skills and experience

- Essential criteria:

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

- Previous perioperative experience in scrub scout nursing

- Previous practice nurse experience (preferable, but not essential)





- Experience to ensure clinical procedures adhere to current health regulations, safety protocols and standards set by NSQHS and RACGP

- Highly regarded:

- Willingness to learn current skin cancer treatments

- Previous Zedmed software experience (not essential)

- Previous RiskClear software experience (not essential)

- Experience with ISO9001
