About the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced MR Delivery Driver to join their team based at their Gepps Cross depot.
This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone who is comfortable with manual handling and regularly lifting and moving building products. You will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to customers across metropolitan Adelaide while providing professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver building products to customers across metropolitan Adelaide.
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Regularly undertake manual handling, including lifting and moving products.
- Secure loads correctly in accordance with safety requirements.
- Complete pre-start vehicle checks and report any issues.
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate and completed on time.
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures where required.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.
- Maintain a clean and presentable company vehicle.
- Follow all road and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
About You
- Current MR Australian Driver’s License – essential.
- Previous delivery driving or similar experience.
- Comfortable with regular manual handling and lifting.
- Physically capable of loading and unloading building products.
- Good knowledge of metropolitan Adelaide.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Reliable and responsible approach to work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Experience with building products, hardware or trade supplies would be advantageous.
