About the role

Mainline Services Group is seeking an experienced Village Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of accommodation, catering, housekeeping, transport and village support services at a remote mine site in Queensland.

Key responsibilities

· Manage and coordinate daily operations of the remote mining accommodation village and support service facilities.

· Oversee accommodation, catering, housekeeping, cleaning, transport and village support services to ensure operational efficiency.

· Supervise and support site-based operational teams, including rostering, staffing allocation and workflow coordination.

· Monitor service standards, customer satisfaction and contract compliance across all village operations.

· Coordinate stock control, consumables, inventory management and operational supply requirements.

· Liaise with client representatives, contractors and internal management regarding operational matters and service delivery.

· Prepare operational reports, incident records and site documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.

· Support workplace health and safety compliance, food safety procedures and site operational standards.

· Assist in resolving operational issues, maintenance requests and accommodation service matters in a timely manner.





· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and efficient operation of remote village services.

Requirements

· Diploma of Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a relevant field

· At least one-year relevant work experience

· Strong leadership and people management skills

· Experience in accommodation, catering or village services operations

· Good administration, reporting and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work in a remote site setting and manage multiple service streams

· Strong safety focus and commitment to compliance

· Current driver licence

· Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

· Police check if required
