Vehicle Body Builder

Full-time | Forrestfield, WA | 8&6 Roster

Key Responsibilities:

- Construct, assemble, repair, and customise trailers to meet high-quality standards and customer specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and fabricate metal components accurately.
- Perform welding tasks (MIG, TIG, FCAW, arc) as required.
- Assist in trailer customisation, including doors, ramps, OME, and BRE accessories.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, work completed, and any issues encountered.
- Diagnose and repair damage as part of maintenance or service.
- Lead assigned projects safely and effectively, taking ownership and responsibility.
- Support and mentor apprentices or junior team members.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, participate in safety initiatives, and wear PPE as required.





Essential Qualifications & Experience:

- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience for your role.
- 3–5 years’ experience in road transport fabrication, repair, or maintenance.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Motor Vehicle Repairers Certificate

Desirable:

- Experience with trailer customisation and heavy-duty road transport equipment.
- Ability to work across multiple BRE sites if required.
