The Role
Based in our Yass branch, you will become an integral member of the Delta team and work closely with teams in our Southern teams.
You will have the exciting opportunity to support our existing clients and further develop a client base for the supply of a wide range of farm inputs including agchem, fertiliser, animal health and general merchandise, along with promoting other services Delta offers in the market.
The opportunity includes (but is not limited to) the following tasks.
- Administrative duties such as inventory management and invoicing
- Processing both cash and credit sales transactions
- Offering top-notch customer service and sales assistance for rural products
- Collaborating with the Branch Manager to uphold workplace safety protocols
- Aiding in the loading and unloading of trucks
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organisation standards in both the store and storage areas to ensure a superior presentation.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be committed to growing a business through adding value to our clients and demonstrate an ability to deliver professional and courteous customer service.
- Be highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
- Have general understanding of invoicing, stock control and strong computer skills.
- Demonstrated capability to work independently when necessary.
- Be physically fit and capable of safely performing lifting tasks required for the role
- Be committed to make a positive contribution to our existing team, to listen, learn and positively communicate with your colleagues and clients.
- Be enthusiastic, positive, and willing to roll your sleeves up to get the job done.
- Hold a forklift licence or be willing to obtain.
