About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic communicator to join our high performing strategic communications team on a fixed term contract. As a Communications Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting transparent, consistent and engaging content that connects with our people, customers, and community. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with the energy and drive to deliver smart, impactful campaigns, while working closely with stakeholders and the broader team.
You will:
- Assist in the planning, development, and delivery of communication campaigns.
- Produce engaging and accurate content in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Support the production of materials such as digital assets, brochures, and videos.
- Support social media content planning and monitoring engagement.
- Support website and intranet content creation, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and easy to access.
- Support the delivery of analytics and reporting to measure impact and guide future communications activities.

Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience in a communications-related role or similar.
- High level writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging content for a range of audiences and channels.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships and collaborate across teams.
- Demonstrated organisational and coordination skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality work within short timeframes.

Other Important Information You Need to Know!
This position is available for 12 months with the possibility of extension or permanency. Further offers may be made should similar (permanent or fixed term) positions arise.
The recommended applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process prior to appointment.
