Casual position with 6 Month Probation, leading to full time employment for the right applicant

About the role...

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Local Delivery Driver to join our team and support our daily delivery operations in the Townsville area.

Minimum MR licence is essential. Previous delivery experience is regarded but not mandatory, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Day shifts are available on a permanent full time basis following a successful 6-month probationary period. There are excellent opportunities for career progression, including the potential to move into away runs north to Cairns and south to Mackay as well as leadership and supervisory roles.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Picking and loading glass products and completing daily deliveries throughout the Townsville region (Monday to Friday only)

- Dispatch duties,



including loading glass products onto stillages for local supply and collection by external freight providers

While not essential, a current Forklift licence and/or crane experience would be highly advantageous.

Working in a friendly and supportive environment, reporting to a Team Coordinator, you will assist in achieving daily KPI's. You will be provided with properly structured and regulated onsite training, including but not limited to the following tasks:

- Unloading glass

- Racking glass

- Quality checking

- Assisting loaders with orders for trucks

- Assisting in warehousing duties

- General housekeeping maintenance of the work space

- Delivery of Glass Product

The Candidate must possess the following

All successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and medical, Driving history required.
