About the role

Ameya Care Support Services is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team in Innisfail.

As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to our participants.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

- Accompanying participants to appointments, social activities, and community events

- Providing emotional support and encouragement to participants

- Documenting participants progress and any relevant incidents or concerns

- Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a similar role, supporting individuals with disabilities or complex needs

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others

- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

- Current First Aid and CPR certification





- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
