We are seeking a motivated and talented Shift Supervisor for our projects in Darwin, NT and report to the Project Superintendent.

About the Role:

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the safe, effective and compliant operation of the Groundwater Treatment Plant during their assigned shift. The role provides leadership and technical direction to Process Operators while ensuring treatment performance, environmental compliance, asset reliability and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

Key Accountabilities:

- Lead and supervise Process Operators during shift operations.

- Allocate daily work activities and monitor completion.

- Ensure shift personnel comply with company procedures and site requirements.

- Monitor and optimise treatment plant performance.

- Review laboratory results and operational trends.

- Optimise chemical dosing rates and treatment efficiency.

- Troubleshoot process upsets and investigate root causes.

- Ensure treated water quality meets licence and customer requirements.

- Support process improvement initiatives and treatment trials

- Champion SciDev's "Everyone Safe Everyday" value.





- Work with maintenance contractors and technicians.

- Review recurring equipment failures and recommend solutions.

- Identify opportunities to improve plant efficiency, reliability and operational performance.

- Contribute ideas and solutions that enhance safety, productivity and customer outcomes.

About You:

- Tertiary Qualification in Chemical / Environmental Engineering or related discipline.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, environmental remediation, mining operations or industrial process facilities.

- Previous experience leading operational teams.

- Strong understanding of water chemistry and treatment technologies.

- Current unrestricted driver's licence.

Desirable

- Supervisory experience in remote operations.

- Frontline Management qualification.

- ICAM or incident investigation training.

- Forklift Licence.
