Freight Link Couriers is seeking an experienced and motivated Courier/Van Driver & Depot Support team member to join our team in Townsville. As a Courier, you will play a vital role in our organization, responsible for efficiently and safely delivering packages to customers within the local area. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to become an integral part of our growing business.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport and deliver packages to customers within the local area
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and any issues encountered
- Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers as needed
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required
- Comply with all relevant health & safety regulations
What we're looking for
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver, preferably in the Townsville area (not essential)
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry packages
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to providing high-quality service
