Access Cabinets is looking for an Estimator to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality joinery solutions across retail, commercial, hospitality, medical and office fit-out projects.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates and quotations for custom joinery and cabinetry projects from concept through to submission.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

- Preparing detailed material take-offs and labour estimates.

- Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor pricing.

- Producing accurate quotations within required timeframes.

- Liaising with project managers, designers, suppliers and clients to clarify project requirements.

- Identifying value engineering opportunities where appropriate.

- Maintaining estimating records and supporting project handovers.

- Assisting with continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Minimum 2 years' estimating experience within the joinery,



cabinetry or commercial construction industry.

- Strong understanding of joinery manufacturing methods, materials and installation.

- Sound general building and construction knowledge.

- Ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Desirable

- Experience using AroFlo.

- Experience estimating commercial fit-out or shopfitting projects.

- Trade qualification in Cabinet Making or a related construction discipline.
