We are looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our Currumbin team.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for store sales performance, team management, and customer experience. This role requires proven experience managing a retail team and store P&L;, weekend availability, and occasional travel (details below).

About the role:

- Lead and develop a small, progressive sales team, providing the product and sales advice needed to match our growing range
- Build and maintain a strong customer service culture, delivering a high-quality experience to KickAss customers
- Own store sales targets and goals, motivating and driving your sales and service team to hit them
- Foster a fun, positive, and enthusiastic team culture
- Plan and merchandise in-store promotions and displays in line with sales and promotional events
- Manage daily store operations: administration, staff rostering, banking, stock control, store security and asset management, and presentation/cleanliness standards
- Hire, train, and develop store team members

About you (essential):

- 5+ years retail experience, including at least 2-3 years in a Store Manager or Assistant Manager role, running a team and accountable for sales targets
- Demonstrated experience hiring, training, and developing retail staff




- Comfortable managing rosters, stock control, and daily store administration
- Able to work weekends as part of a standard retail roster
- Robust leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Confident engaging with both experienced and first-time customers, providing technical product advice
- A positive, self-motivated, results-driven approach

Nice to have:

- A genuine interest in power, camping, 4WD, or the outdoors
- Recognised qualifications in retail management or similar
- Experience selling camping, 4WD, outdoor, or 12V electrical products (full product training provided)
