Regional Skills Training (RST) is seeking experienced machine operators to join our team as full time or part-time Trainers, delivering agricultural vocational training programs across Adelaide and key regional areas.

About the role
RST is seeking experienced full-time machine operators based in Adelaide and key regional areas, including Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula and the South East.
We're looking for operators who enjoy sharing their knowledge and helping others succeed. Our Trainers deliver hands-on, practical training and are committed to safe, professional machine operation. Experience operating the following equipment is highly regarded:
· Front End Loader
· Skid Steer
· Backhoe Loader
· Telehandler
· Forklift
· Civil Front End Loader
· Excavator (desirable)
· Grader
· Roller
Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Deliver training sessions both on-machine and on simulated machines
- Conduct practical assessments, support students progress and assess student outcomes
- Travel to student’s work sites to assess competency
- Contribute as a subject matter expert to the development of training programs, session plans, assessment tools and other training materials
- Ensure all training activities comply with site safety standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practice
To be the successful applicant you must have:
- Background in Earth Moving/Civil Construction, Mining or Agriculture
- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willing to work towards)
- Strong and confident communication skills with an ability to work well independently
- Driver’s license and the ability to travel
- Current Working With Children Check
- Ability to promote a safe working environment and compliance with Work Health and Safety policies and procedures
