Join the MPS Group as a full-time Civil Supervisor based in Olympic Dam, South Australia.
As the Civil Supervisor your responsibilities will include work management, personnel management, and supervision of civil works. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality project services to our clients and supplying supervision and coordination as needed.

What you'll be doing

- Supervise and coordinate civil construction crews (up to 15 personnel)
- Oversee daily site operations including earthworks, concrete works, drainage, and associated civil infrastructure
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with Australian Standards, site specifications, and project requirements
- Support Project Managers and Department Managers to meet budgets and timelines
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and productivity
- Conduct pre-start meetings
- Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Identify potential issues early and implement practical solutions to prevent delays

What we're looking for

- Proven experience supervising civil construction projects, ideally within mining or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of civil works including bulk earthworks, concrete, drainage,



and infrastructure projects
- Ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary workforce
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a hands-on approach
- High level of planning, time management, and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, management, and crews
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word )
- High attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
