We are on the hunt for a resilient Support Worker for our Client in Nundah who experiences challenges with mobility. Our Client requires morning supports with personal cares, light domestic duties, community access, and meal preparation.

Our Client has a wicked sense of humour and really needs a Support Worker that is confident, has a ‘thick skin,’ and has firm personal boundaries! Also, the ideal person can communicate well, doesn’t offend easily, and has some life experience.

Shifts Available:

- Monday's 8:00am to 10:45am

- Tuesday's 8:00am to 1:00pm (community access)

- Wednesday's 8:00am to 10:45am

- Thursday's 8:00am to 11:00am (community access/shopping)

- Friday's 8:00am to 12:00pm (meal preparation/cooking day)

- Saturday's 8:00am to 10:00am

- Sunday's 7:00am to 9:00am (morning at the markets)

We are looking for someone with availability across varies days, and someone who is comfortable to support when urgent shifts arise.

QSSS hourly rates are Weekday $37.35, Evening $40.11, Night $41.20, Saturday $50.96, Sunday $65.59, Public Holidays $80.01 (sorry, rate not negotiable).





We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions where required, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having the assurance of consistency of Clients you support. You have a comprehensive suite of online learning to support you and face to face learnings.

- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered

- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist

- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Client’s needs

- Provide support to our Clients as required

- Have positive rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner

- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required

- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients

- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

To be successful you must:

- Resonate with the role description above

- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives

- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia

- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card

- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
