About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated Site Supervisor to join our Melbourne team and lead the successful delivery of exhibitions, major events, temporary structures and event installations across Victoria.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee crews, manage site operations, ensure safety compliance and work closely with clients to deliver exceptional event outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise event crews during bump-in, event operations and bump-out.

- Coordinate the safe installation, maintenance and dismantling of event infrastructure.

- Allocate daily tasks, provide clear direction and monitor workforce productivity.

- Ensure works are completed to approved plans, schedules, site requirements and quality standards.

- Identify potential delays or operational risks early and implement practical solutions.

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure installations are safe, secure and fit for purpose.

- Coordinate internal crews, casual labour, subcontractors, equipment and materials.

- Deliver pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and site safety briefings.

- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation,



company procedures and venue-specific requirements.

- Monitor safe work practices including manual handling, working at heights, electrical safety and traffic management.

- Report hazards, incidents, near misses and unsafe practices, and stop work where an immediate risk exists.

- Coordinate equipment deliveries, loading, unloading, storage and returns to the warehouse.

- Carry out pre-use checks on tools, vehicles, plant and equipment, reporting faults promptly.

- Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, venues, suppliers and contractors.

- Complete site reports, timesheets, checklists, incident reports, handover documents and progress updates accurately.

About You

- Minimum 5 years' experience in event operations, exhibitions, construction or temporary structures.

- Previous experience leading large site crews.

- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and secure work practices.

- Ability to read site plans, floor plans and event documentation.

- Excellent organisational and communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving ability with a calm, solutions-focused approach.

- Current Australian Driver Licence.

- First Aid Certificate
