Role Description

Due to continued growth and increasing patient demand, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Dermal Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, working alongside our plastic surgeon, cosmetic physician, nurses, and administrative staff.

This is a part-time position, initially one to two days per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as the role develops and patient demand increases.

In this role, you will provide advanced skin and dermal treatments, including chemical peels, skin needling, and laser and energy-based treatments (where suitably qualified), as well as customised skincare programs. You will conduct comprehensive skin consultations and develop personalised treatment plans in collaboration with our medical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced dermal and aesthetic treatments.
• Conduct comprehensive skin assessments and consultations.
• Develop personalised treatment plans and skincare recommendations.
• Provide pre- and post-treatment education and ongoing patient support.
• Assist in the management of post-surgical skin optimisation and scar therapy programs for plastic surgery patients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
• Ensure the highest standards of infection control, patient safety, and clinical compliance.




• Collaborate closely with the plastic surgeon, cosmetic physician, nurses, and administrative staff.
• Contribute to an exceptional patient experience and a positive clinic culture.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification in Dermal Therapy with 3-5 years of minimum practical work experience in a professional clinic setting.
• A current laser licence and relevant certifications are essential for this role, together with experience performing laser and energy-based treatments.
• Previous experience in a cosmetic, dermatology, plastic surgery, or aesthetic medical clinic is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, common skin conditions, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Experience in post-surgical scar management, wound healing optimisation, laser scar treatments, and post-operative patient care is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
