⏰ Weekly & Monthly Payroll Cycles
Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking for your next chance? We are seeking a hands-on payroll professional for 2-3 months to take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function for a busy and well-established organisation based in Glen Waverley.
This is a fully on-site role where you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while providing exceptional support to employees and stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high volume end-to-end payroll for both weekly and monthly payroll cycles
- Maintain employee records and payroll data integrity
- Manage payroll calculations including superannuation, leave accruals, overtime, allowances, and deductions
- Interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and payroll legislation
- Handle payroll queries from employees and management
- Process new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax, STP, superannuation, and relevant legislation
- Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end requirements
About You
- Previous experience managing end-to-end payroll
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with payroll systems (ideally ADP) and Excel skills
