HQ Group’s (Arbory Bar & Eatery, HER, Straight Up Cocktails) annual pop-up bar and eatery AFLOAT, is back to grace Melbourne's CBD from August through to June.

Nestled on the North side of ‘Birrarung’, AFLOAT transforms each year with new fit-out and theme, drawing inspiration from our favourite international holiday destinations.

Season 11’s re-launch will feel like a familiar but new addition to Melbourne’s summer social scene; with the venue’s interior, design, food & beverage offering, music & entertainment program and a reminder that the positive times are right around the corner.

Have you worked in a high-volume environment and want to continue to develop your bar skills, beverage knowledge, or floor and operational skills? Be part of our leadership team and receive thorough induction and ongoing training.

What we are looking for

- Hospitality is at your core – you’re approachable, welcoming, and positive

- A passion for creating a fun and engaging environment for both our guests and staff

- Demonstrated supervisory/management experience: shift management, venue operations, POS, RSA management, lead by example

- Excellent communication and organisation skills; give feedback, support,



direct and nurture our staff

- Excellent food, beverage, and cocktail knowledge

- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety standards

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
