Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a Locum ED SRMO to support overnight Emergency Department coverage at a regional hospital.
This role is suited to a doctor with recent ED experience who is confident working overnight, supporting patient assessment, treatment planning, documentation and escalation of care when required.
Clinical Environment:
Emergency Department SRMO role in a regional hospital setting
Overnight shift coverage
Supportive team environment with senior escalation pathways available
Suitable for doctors with recent Emergency Medicine experience
Key Duties:
Assess and manage ED presentations
Support treatment planning and clinical documentation
Complete handover as required
Escalate patient concerns appropriately
Work collaboratively with nursing and medical teams
Eligibility Criteria:
Current AHPRA Registration
Recent Emergency Medicine experience at SRMO level
Robust communication and clinical documentation skills
Ability to complete SDPR training prior to commencement
Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
What’s Provided:
Competitive hourly rate of $200 per hour
