An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Contract Administrator to join a highly respected top tier contractor on an exciting commercial fit out project. This is an immediate start contract for up to 8 weeks, providing additional support to the commercial team during a busy procurement phase.
If you're an organised Contract Administrator who enjoys subcontract procurement and working within fast-paced project teams, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project with one of the industry's best builders.
The Role Reporting to the Senior Contract Administrator and Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in managing the procurement process to ensure subcontract packages are awarded efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities

- Procurement of subcontract packages from tender through to award
- Preparing scopes of work and tender documentation
- Calling, reviewing and assessing subcontract tenders
- Assisting with subcontract negotiations and recommendations
- Preparing subcontract agreements and purchase orders
- Liaising with project managers, engineers and subcontractors




- Supporting commercial reporting and project documentation
- Assisting the commercial team to meet key procurement milestones

About You To be successful, you will have:

- Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry
- Commercial fit out, refurbishment or building project experience
- Strong subcontract procurement experience
- Excellent contract administration and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Availability to commence immediately
