ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Piling Project Engineers to join a market-leading contractor delivering major infrastructure works across NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale, high-impact projects while developing your career with a specialist in Piling and Ground Engineering.
The Role
Join a team that’s shaping some of NSW’s most important infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex piling packages using modern foundation systems. This position suits engineers who thrive in hands-on, fast-paced site environments and are looking to expand their technical and project leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily site operations in collaboration with engineers, supervisors, and foremen
- Ensure all works align with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards
- Supervise temporary works installations and enforce site safety protocols
- Prepare and track short-term construction programs and scheduling plans
- Draft methodologies and risk assessments tailored to project conditions
- Identify and document variations or scope changes for commercial review
- Maintain clear and accurate site diaries and project documentation
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in piling, ground engineering, or heavy civil projects
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
- Hands-on knowledge of techniques like CFA, bored, driven, and sheet piling
- Solid understanding of site practices and construction methodologies
- Well-organized with the ability to manage documentation and multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel between projects across NSW when required
- A proactive, solutions-driven attitude with excellent communication skills
