Based in our Willawong office / warehouse, this exciting role involves assisting with and delivering designated furniture projects to our clients on time and budget, Australia wide.
This role is for an energetic, all-round go-getter who wants to be an integral part of a team and is looking for a long term career within a company that offers progression.
38 hrs per week
- Installation & Deliveries:
Assist in the planning, implementation, delivery and coordination of onsite project installations
- Manage logistics and freight to site
- Book labour & trades to assist with moving, assembly and installation of furniture items
- Manage all AFS labour onsite efficiently
- Assist with moving, assembling and cleaning of items during installations
- Represent AFS in working with the Client liaison to review and sign-off post completion
- Coordinate rubbish removal efficiently and cost effectively
- Manage ‘after’ install sign off mop up & warranty claims
- Ensure installation is managed to budget and on time
Warehouse Management:
- Receiving inwards goods
- Packing and preparation of outward stock as required
- Make deliveries and pickups as required
- Create delivery dockets and shipping labels plus manage stock movements
- Manage stock inventory and record all movements in and out of the warehouse
- Use of power tools to assemble furniture and repair as required
- Ensure installation kit and tools are kept up to date and current
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse
- Adhere to OH&S; procedures
- Replenishment of warehouse supplies and maintenance of equipment
- Carry out regular stock takes
- Clearance sale of excess stock
Skills & Expertise in the following will be highly regarded:
- Background in furniture and/or joinery, construction & materials an advantage but not essential
- Trades person skills with tools experience highly considered
Office Administration:
- Organising local, interstate and international freight solutions

- Positive written and verbal communication skills
- Computer Literate - ability to use email, word and excel
- Well organised & motivated
- Dedicated to completing tasks
- A team player who adheres to policies & procedures
- Current drivers licence & reliable vehicle
- Forklift licence is essential
- Must be able to travel interstate for up to 5 days at any one time
