Nurselink Healthcare is expanding across Western Australia, and we are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and clinically confident Registered Nurse to provide specialised nursing services for an NDIS participant in Albany, WA.

This role requires an RN with robust clinical assessment, delegation, supervision, and training skills who is experienced in supporting participants with complex health needs in accordance with the Level 3 Delegation and Supervision of Care (DSOC) Model.

About the Role

As the Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing assessments, developing and reviewing care plans, delegating clinical tasks, training disability support workers, and providing ongoing supervision to ensure safe and high-quality clinical care.

You will work collaboratively with the participant, their family, support team, allied health professionals, and relevant stakeholders to ensure all supports align with NDIS requirements and best-practice nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver nursing services in accordance with the Level 3 Registered Nurse Delegation and Supervision of Care (DSOC) Model

- Conduct comprehensive health assessments

- Complete environmental and clinical risk assessments

- Develop, implement and review individualised care plans





- Delegate nursing tasks to disability support workers

- Train and assess staff to ensure competency in delegated clinical tasks

- Provide ongoing clinical supervision and support

- Monitor participant health outcomes and clinical risks

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers

- Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, AHPRA requirements and organisational policies

Clinical Support Requirements

The successful Registered Nurse will provide support across up to four complex clinical skill areas, including:

- Complex Bowel Care

- Complex Wound Care

- Nutrition Support

- Respiratory Care

Clinical Service Allocation

A total of 110 hours will be provided, including:

Delegation – 58 Hours

- 12 hours – Comprehensive Health Assessment

- 4 hours – Environmental Assessment

- 8 hours – Care Plan Development and Updates

- 34 hours – Training and competency assessment for five or more support staff

Supervision – 52 Hours

- Ongoing clinical supervision of delegated supports

- Monitoring competency and quality of care

- Clinical reviews and support as required

Continence Nursing Support

In addition,



up to 6 hours will be allocated for a Clinical Continence Nurse to:

- Review the participant's current toileting, continence and/or stoma management recommendations

- Provide updated clinical recommendations where required

- Review supports over a 12-month period

- Recommend any changes to ongoing continence management

Essential Requirements

- Current unrestricted AHPRA Registered Nurse registration

- Demonstrated experience supporting NDIS participants with complex clinical needs

- Experience working within the Delegation and Supervision of Care (DSOC) framework

- Competency in complex bowel care, wound management, nutrition support and respiratory care

- Experience delivering staff education, delegation and competency assessments

- Excellent clinical assessment and care planning skills

- Strong communication and documentation skills

- Current National Police Check

- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain if required)

- Current First Aid and CPR certification

- Current Manual Handling competency

- Current Medication Administration competency

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)

- Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations (where required)
