Responsibilities

As an Underground Magazine Keeper for Westfill you must have prior experience in this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Assisting with the collection and transportation of bulk explosives underground.
- Ability to safely lift 20 kg ANFO bags as required.
- Maintaining accurate records of explosive usage.
- Adhering to all site safety systems and procedures.
- Ensuring the safe handling, transport, and storage of explosives.
- Issuing explosive stock to Development and Production Charge Crews.
- Managing and recording magazine stock levels and movements.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience as an underground Mag Keeper essential.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude and compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to cope with working in a physically challenging environment.




- Current Valid Manual Driver’s License (Essential.)
- Full Australian Working Rights (Essential).
- Provide National Police Clearance within the last 6 months.
- Ability to pass pre- employment medical to include Drug and Alcohol test.
