We are seeking a Sales Manager to join the team!

What you'll be doing?
- Owning commercial performance — Taking full accountability for new business revenue, customer acquisition, and sales conversion targets, driving sustainable growth through effective sales leadership and performance management.
- Leading onshore and offshore teams — Motivating, developing, and managing both the Sydney-based Customer Relations team and an offshore BPO partner, fostering a cohesive, high-performing, and customer-focused culture.
- Coaching for capability — Providing hands-on coaching and development to continuously improve team members' sales skills, customer engagement, and overall performance.
- Championing customer experience — Overseeing customer interactions across all communication channels, ensuring a consistently professional and exceptional experience that drives satisfaction,
referrals, and advocacy.
- Managing operations and workflows — Ensuring resources, processes, and operating practices are aligned to support business growth, service delivery, and efficiency objectives.
- Driving compliance and continuous improvement — Establishing and maintaining process standards, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance, and using data and insights to identify opportunities and optimise outcomes.
- Managing the BPO relationship — Overseeing the performance and relationship with the offshore BPO partner to ensure consistent standards and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders — Partnering across the business to align customer, commercial, and risk priorities, and contributing to broader organisational improvement and growth initiatives.
Who are we looking for?
- Sales and customer service leadership experience — Proven experience leading a customer service, sales, contact centre, or customer acquisition team with demonstrated results in revenue growth and performance improvement.
- People leadership and coaching capability — Strong ability to inspire, develop, and hold teams accountable, building a culture of engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Commercial acumen — The ability to balance customer experience, commercial outcomes, and risk considerations in a quick-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Communication and stakeholder skills — Strong interpersonal, relationship-building,
and stakeholder management skills to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business.
- Data and reporting proficiency — Experience working with performance reporting, CRM systems, and operational metrics to drive informed decision-making and identify trends.
- Offshore or BPO experience — Prior experience managing offshore or BPO teams is advantageous and will be well regarded.
- Industry background — Experience in insurance, financial services, luxury goods, or a related industry is desirable but not essential — the right leadership capability and mindset are what matter most.
