About the role

Due to our ongoing success, Palazzo Homes is seeking a highly motivated person to join our dynamic team in Perth. As a Estimator/Scheduler you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of our residential projects by cost planning, project programming and corodination to support successful project delivery. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare estimates, cost plans, and tender submissions for high end residential projects, reviewing drawings, specifications, and consultant documentation

2. Coordinating and monitoring the progress of contracts, including tracking key milestones, budgets, and deadlines

3. Source, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations

4. Preparing and processing contract variations, extensions, and amendments

5. Liaising with project managers and site teams to keep costs, programmes, and delivery objectives aligned

6. Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support contract administration activities

7. Identifying and proposing improvements to contract management processes and procedures

What we're looking for

While we are ideally looking for someone with proven experience in estimating, scheduling and/or project coordination, we also welcome applications from motivated candidates with a solid construction background who are ready to take the next step in their career.

1. Can work autonomously,



manage competing priorities and take ownership of their responsibilities from day one

2. Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and consultant documentation.

3. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills

4. Proficient in the use of estimating and scheduling software and tools

5. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

6. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
