A government facility on the Bellarine Peninsula is offering a leadership opportunity in our Service Delivery team. We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Catering Manager to lead our corporate catering operations. This exciting opportunity offers a predominantly Monday to Friday schedule, working closely with stakeholders whilst overseeing both kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional service and high-quality product.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, dining and event venues, ensuring high standards of presentation, food quality, service delivery and compliance
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching and supervision to catering teams, including performance management and staff development
- Foster a positive, high-performing team culture, focused on service excellence
- Oversee procurement, inventory control and resource management to support effective budget performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to encourage innovation and continuous improvement
- Utilise POS and relevant catering software to support operational efficiency and reporting
Education, Qualification and Experience Requirements:
- Valid RSA certificate
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Experience using industry relevant POS, Stock management and Event Management software
- Robust leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated experience in a similar catering or hospitality management position
- Formal qualifications in Hospitality or Business Management highly regarded
- Experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, Venue Manager, Hotel Operations Manager or hospitality business owner will be highly regarded.
