We are looking for a casual salesperson to work flexible hours Mon - Fri. The role will undertake phone sales & customer service from our Cornubia site & sales rep/merchandising visits around SEQ.
Responsibilities include:
- In house phone sales for both retail & wholesale clients. Maximising sales & stocked range with existing client via rep/merchandising visits.
- Co-ordinate the fulfilment of stock orders from receiving to delivery including assisting our dispatch department with pick list prep & quality sign off.
- On the road rep working to increase range and sales in existing independent clients and calling on potential new clients to introduce our range and services.
- Implementing marketing and sales strategies to develop recent business.
- Gather market research on the road and over the phone for new product & distributions.
- Compile & distribute marketing material.
- Merchandising in retail stores to display and maintain stock.
- Assist with quality control procedures in our dispatch department.
- Administration back up for admin, freight and marketing departments.
Core Skills Required
- Previous sales experience required.
- Intermediate computer use of excel, word, PowerPoint & social media is required for this position.
- An understanding of databases would also be helpful.
- An understanding of the fundamentals of marketing is highly regarded.
