BreastScreen NSW Northern Sydney Central Coast is a busy service proving high quality breast screening to women. The successful applicant will be passionate, enthusiastic and committed to the provision of high quality healthcare. The successful applicant will be an integral part of our administrative support team and ensure that all aspects of service delivery are met and wherever possible exceed standards to support the early detection of breast cancers.








One position will be predominantly based on the Central Coast and part of the role requires the provision of reception service at various sites eg. Lake Haven, Bateau Bay, Woy Woy and Erina.


The other position/s will be predominantly based at RNS and part of the role will be providing a reception service across NSLHD screening sites at RNS, Hornsby, Ryde/Macquarie, Brookvale and Warriewood.


You will need to have reliable transport options that will enable BreastScreen NSCC to maintain its professional reception activities

What you'll be doing


Providing a high standard of customer service to BreastScreen NSW NSCC clients by performing the administrative activities required to support service operations at all venues.

The Administration Support officer provides a comprehensive range of administrative support and customer service to women within North Sydney and Central Coast LHD’s, supporting BreastScreen NSW to increase participation within the program and detect breast cancer early.

This position is based primarily at either at the St Leonards or Erina BreastScreen sites, with the requirement to travel and work at various locations within NSLHD and CCLHD.


Employees must abide by the NSW Health Code of Conduct. Criminal record checks will be undertaken on successful applicants and applicants for positions designated as Category A will be required to obtain required vaccinations prior to commencing employment. 


Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration,Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Highly professional phone manner and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in reception and telephone bookings.
- Ability to be self-motivated with good time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Well-developed computer skills including accurate data entry skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility with work duties and locations.
- Experience with quality assurance tasks that ensure data integrity in an electronic database.
