About the role

- We’re looking for a Pay & Perks Manager who can deliver a smooth, supportive and reliable experience for employees across ENGIE in Australia. You’ll lead our pay and benefits services, oversee the Payroll Officer, and be a trusted, approachable expert for employees, leaders and our global network.
- Your focus will be on making sure people feel informed and looked after—whether that’s answering pay and benefits questions, guiding leaders on compliance, or helping employees understand their entitlements.
- You’ll also help improve how we work by streamlining processes, enhancing systems, and ensuring data accuracy. Your remit includes remuneration and bonus cycles, WorkCover administration, benefits programs, international mobility payments and coordination of any new benefits as they are introduced.
- As a leader, you’ll support and develop your team, fostering a positive, friendly and high‑performing setting that reflects ENGIE’s values.

About you

- You’re an approachable, customer‑focused pay and benefits professional who enjoys helping others and building trusted relationships. People feel comfortable coming to you because you communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality, and stay calm when dealing with complexity.

- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation and award interpretation.
- Experience supporting end‑to‑end payroll and advising on remuneration and benefits processes.
- Confidence administering payroll and HRIS systems, and leading system or process improvements or implementations.
- Experience with WorkCover policies, declarations and compliance.
- Understanding of benefits programs, employee entitlements and international mobility payments.
