Lead a regionally based team responsible for delivering rural land services in accordance with relevant state legislation, Council's Biosecurity Plan and Stock Route Management Plan. Working closely with the Coordinator and Manager, the position contributes to the planning, coordination and delivery of operational programs and services that support the protection and sustainability of the Maranoa region's rural industries. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines field‑based and office‑based responsibilities. The role provides leadership in pest and weed management, stock route operations, infrastructure maintenance, stakeholder engagement and compliance activities, while supporting operational planning, reporting, resource management and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure services are delivered safely, effectively and in alignment with Council priorities.

- Permanent, full-time position
- Maranoa Regional Council Certified Agreement 2023 - Stream A - Level 5 -$80,281.66 per annum
- Rural Lands Allowance - $71.79 per week
- Maranoa locality allowance $72.00 per fortnight
- Work a 9‑day fortnight with a Rostered Day Off.
- Access Long service leave after seven (7) years
