About the position
We are excited to announce an prospect for a dedicated Clinical and Care Lead to join our team at our outstanding 49 beds facility in Kogarah. As a Clinical and Care Lead, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the General Manager to ensure the delivery of exceptional clinical care and person‑centred services to our residents. Embrace a fulfilling career where your clinical expertise meets compassionate leadership. Kindly be aware that this position includes occasional weekend shifts as part of the rotation.
To succeed in this role, you will have
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills; expertise in clinical practices and evidence‑based care with a minimum of 5 years recent experience in aged care in an Australian setting and experience in management in aged care or similar.
- Leadership and management experience; staff development and performance management.
- Strong understanding of aged care standards and legislation; ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Ability to monitor and manage financial sustainability, overseeing revenue and budget.
- Excellent communication skills; maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Capability to identify, assess, and manage clinical and operational risks.
- Experience in governance and quality assurance; driving continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of infection control policies and procedures.
- Sensitivity and respect for cultural backgrounds; promoting inclusivity and diversity.
- Commitment to professional development; providing guidance on policies and procedures.
- Understanding of Accreditation requirements and quality improvement.
- Excellent understanding of the Australian National Aged Care Classification Funding Model (ANACC), continuous improvement, WH&S;, and risk management.
Desirable Criteria
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse workplace
- Understanding and empathy with religious based service delivery
- Proficiency in spoken Greek and Greek cultural appreciation is an advantage.
- Holds a certificate for IPC Lead
