We’re seeking a passionate night shift Registered Nurse with aged care experience to join our AEGIS Shoreline team!

Location: Aegis Shoreline, North Coogee, near Port Coogee Marina, Western Australia.

You should be an empathetic person who possesses the following qualities:

- A commitment and genuine passion for Aged Care.
- An ability to inspire trust and proactively lead, coach, develop and mentor both unregulated care workers, care, and lifestyle staff.

Responsibilities

Within this role you will be a champion of high quality, protected and effective nursing that aligns with the resident preference and best practice by:

- Undertaking clinical, social and self-care assessments.
- Anticipating residents’ changing health needs and initiating further assessments or referrals.
- Supporting residents and their families by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns.

You will be responsible for compliance:





- Ensuring all care documentation is completed with the appropriate strategies implemented.
- Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting.

Your role within the team would involve:

- Supporting, coaching, monitoring, and mentoring the unregulated care workers.
- Providing support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and clinical expertise to the care team.

Qualifications

- A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.
- A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
- Full Australian working rights and the ability to pass a national police clearance.
