We are seeking an experienced Business Coordinator (Workforce) to join our team at RoadTek. In this fast‑paced and varied role, you will report to the Principal Advisor (Workforce) and provide specialist HR advice to support the business. Working closely with the Senior Advisors (Workforce) and key stakeholders, you will deliver specialist advice and practical assistance to support effective workforce management and HR outcomes.

RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads. We provide transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland.

Responsibilities

- Supporting recruitment and selection activities.
- Preparing reports on workforce establishment and HR activities to assist with planning, development,



and management of business unit workforce needs.
- Providing accurate, timely, and high‑quality advice to managers and employees on the interpretation and application of HR policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver sustainable, business‑focused HR solutions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a sound understanding of HR practices and the ability to apply policies and procedures to support business outcomes. You will bring excellent communication skills, be highly organised and have robust time‑management capabilities, with the ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
