Key Responsibilities

- Lead and deliver complex, cross-functional recruitment and engagement projects aligned with institutional strategy and portfolio priorities
- Apply strong project management, data analysis, and evidence-based insights to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement
- Full time ongoing position located in either Hobart, Launceston or Burnie

What You’ll Do

- Develop, implement and review major project plans, frameworks and strategies aligned with the portfolio and University priorities.
- Lead and manage complex projects and special initiatives that support strategic outcomes across Recruitment, Engagement & Marketing, ensuring delivery within scope, time and budget.
- Apply and adapt established project management methodologies to address complex and emerging issues.
- Lead cross functional working groups and manage activities using shared University resources to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Conduct high‑level data analysis,



monitoring and evaluation to assess program effectiveness, measure performance and inform evidence‑based decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

- Relevant experience in project management, preferably within a higher education or complex organisational workplace.
- Demonstrated ability in leading and working effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, performance monitoring, evaluation and evidence‑based reporting.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills, together with a demonstrated ability to work with competing demands, prioritise work tasks, and be flexible in responding to changing work priorities.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently influence outcomes at all levels of organisations.

Salary Details

- Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $130,943 comprising base salary within the range of $101,821 to $111,917 plus 17% superannuation.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this position, you are required to hold Australian or New Zealand Citizenship, permanent residency or a valid visa that enables you to fulfil the requirements of this role.
