Associate Dean of Primary (Full Time, Permanent)
Kingsway Christian College is seeking an experienced educational leader to serve as Associate Dean of Primary (Years K–6) commencing Term 1, 2027.
Responsibilities
- Provide reliable and consistent student management and pastoral care oversight.
- Work collaboratively with the Primary Learning Support and Extension Teachers and Coordinator of Learning Support to oversee implementation of support and extension programmes, including identifying students.
- Lead and mentor Primary teachers and support staff; manage change and contribute strategically to educational outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, students and parents in the provision of Pastoral Care.
Qualifications & Selection Criteria
- Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).
- Satisfactory Department of Education Criminal History Clearance no more than 3 months old.
- Working With Children Check clearance.
- Written reference from Church Pastor/Minister.
- Legally entitled to work in Australia (Australian Birth, Citizenship or residency visa details).
- Personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, regular church attendance and lifestyle consistent with Christian faith.
- Supportive of the aims,
principles and tenets of Kingsway Christian Education Association Inc. at Kingsway Christian College.
- Fully committed to expansion of Christ‑centred education and integrated Christian curriculum.
- Inspiring leader with demonstrated ability to initiate and manage change.
- Demonstrated achievement as an educational leader, particularly in a Christian school community.
- Commitment to quality and cutting-edge Pastoral Care and Behaviour Management.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective relationships across all levels of the College community.
- Strategic administrator capable of contributing to educational outcomes of primary school students.
- Satisfaction of child protection screening, holding a WWCC Card and National Police Clearance no more than 3 months old.
