Job Description

Community Partnerships Officer – Penrith, NSW

Permanent Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

We are looking for a passionate and relationship-focused Community Partnerships Officer to join our team in Penrith. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships between retail food donors and local community organisations, helping ensure quality surplus food reaches those who need it most.

What you'll be doing:

- Build and maintain positive relationships with community agencies and retail food donor partners.
- Support quality connections between retail stores and local not-for-profit organisations participating in our Community Connect program.
- Respond to stakeholder enquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and support agency compliance with program requirements and agreements.




- Maintain accurate agency records and complete data entry requirements using Salesforce and other systems.
- Process recent agency registrations and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to strengthen community engagement and program outcomes.
- Promote a strong safety culture and elevate risks or concerns as required.
- Represent SecondBite positively within the community, including participating in presentations and events when needed.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using CRM systems such as Salesforce.

- Previous experience in the community sector, customer service, retail, sales, or food relief environments.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience supporting community engagement initiatives or events.
