The finance team is a trusted partner to leaders across the network, helping them navigate complexity and capitalise on opportunity. This is a newly created role for a talented Senior Accountant interested in pursuing a pathway into Financial Planning & Analysis.

The Role

Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller, as the Senior Accountant you will work across the full spectrum of accounting, from the fundamentals of financial accounting through to management reporting while leaning heavily into FP&A.; In practice, that means not only producing accurate budgets, forecasts and variance reports, but also interpreting the numbers, running scenarios and providing the kind of insight that helps the business plan its next move. You duties will include but not be limited to:-

- Manage weekly cashflow forecasting and prepare summaries across 30–40 entities
- Consolidate budgets and forecasts, including detailed annual budgets and rolling reforecast models
- Deliver monthly variance analysis and commentary, identifying key performance drivers
- Prepare and refine management reports for operational leaders and executives
- Undertake ad-hoc financial modelling, scenario analysis and project-based reporting
- Partner on business cases, translating them into proforma budgets and P&Ls;
- Track performance against business case targets, including synergy realisation
- Support post-acquisition integration by assessing performance against budget and operational objectives




- Play a key role in the transition to a new ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and reconciliation
- Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure timely completion of AP, AR, reconciliations and month-end processes
- Drive process improvements, including the development of automated reporting and forecasting tools

About You

You are a first mover from business services or external audit, ideally at Senior Associate or Manager level with a top or mid-tier firm. CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion), you bring strong technical foundations and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to work confidently with large datasets. You thrive in collaborative, high-performing teams and are comfortable operating in a fast-changing, acquisitive environment. Adaptable and commercially minded, you can balance the precision of financial and management accounting with the forward-looking analysis of FP&A;, translating complex data into insights that influence decision-making.

Skills & Experience

- Strong technical accounting foundations with the ability to apply them in a commercial setting
- Strong Excel skills, confident manipulating and analysing large datasets
- Ability to partner with internal stakeholders, including post-acquisition integration support
- Track record of driving process improvements and developing automated reporting or forecasting tools
- Comfortable working with offshore teams to ensure timely completion of AP, AR, reconciliations and month-end processes
