The role
Unyte is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Supervisors to lead the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of civil construction projects across Australia. This role is critical to building strong client relationships, coordinating site teams, and ensuring projects are delivered to scope, programme and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong client relationships and act as the primary interface between site teams and the client
- Define project scope and maintain accurate commercial records, including dayworks and running sheets
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works align with contracts, programmes and budgets
- Implement and track three-week lookaheads, operational budgets and monthly forecasts against KPIs
- Ensure contract terms, variations and approvals are clearly understood, documented and communicated
- Lead site HSEQ performance, ensuring compliance with legislation, company systems and project plans
- Maintain site risk registers, SWMS, pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety/environmental reporting
- Lead, mentor and develop site teams, setting clear expectations and fostering a high-performing culture
- Take ownership of day-to-day site operations, acting as the key interface between clients, project teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Be flexible to work FIFO, DIDO and LAFHA arrangements, and travel to project locations nationally
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in a Supervisor or similar leadership role within civil construction
- Certificate III Civil Construction and Certificate IV Supervision in Civil Construction
- Robust leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Sound understanding of HSEQ legislation, standards and best practice
- Robust organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Current driver’s licence
- Open to LAFHA and FIFO/DIDO work
- Additional tickets or experience desirable: OHSE, trenching & shoring, traffic control, RIW, First Aid, complex civil projects
