The Role

This is a hands‑on trade role with added responsibility of supervising, coordinating and carrying out efficient and cost‑effective maintenance and minor repairs within the West Moreton Hospital and Health Service (WMHHS). Please refer to the attached role description for the key responsibilities of this role and how you will be assessed in the ‘About you’ section.

Mandatory Requirements

- All Trade Coordinators must hold a Certificate in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry).
- TC Building Services – a Queensland recognised Carpentry Trade Qualification.
- TC Electrical – a Queensland recognised Electrical Trade Qualification.
- TC Plumbing – proof of successful completion of an apprenticeship in Plumbing and Draining, along with a current licence to work as a plumber and drainer in Queensland.




- TC Mechanical Services – a Queensland recognised Electrical Trade Qualification or successful completion of a qualification that makes the holder eligible for a QBCC Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services Licence.
- It is a condition of employment that the employee be vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough) and hepatitis B.
- Pre‑employment screening, including criminal history and discipline history checks, may be undertaken on persons recommended for employment.
