HunterNet Career Connections is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our host company in Kewdale as a Mechanical Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently in their 2nd or 3rd year of a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade. Applicants with no prior experience but a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply and begin a rewarding career in the mechanical trades while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Responsibilities

- Assist qualified tradespeople with general mechanical repairs
- Assemble and disassemble mechanical components and structures
- Support maintenance and breakdown activities on machinery
- Prepare and organise parts for assembly from the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, protected, and organised workshop environment
- Show strong willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Demonstrate reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Communicate effectively and manage time efficiently
- Exhibit good mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical ability




- Take a proactive approach to safety and maintaining a safe work environment
- Complete daily safety documentation accurately
- Use solid problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
