The Team
Our diverse Services business provides 24/7 servicing for hospitals, utilities, data centers, support for the resources sector and just about everything in-between. Our Schneider Electric portfolio covers UPS, critical cooling equipment, LV/MV switchgear, transformers, substation monitoring as well as a wide range of ancillary equipment. We enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations.
The Opportunity
Our Services team is growing and with growth comes opportunity. We are currently seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join our NSW team. Based in Sydney, you will bring your proven leadership experience and technical knowledge to lead others across our Power Systems (Switchgear, Circuit Breakers etc.) teams.
You will get the opportunity to lead a passionate team of specialist Service Representatives who are Waged Differently. They get up early, travel far and tackle the toughest problems on the fly. They thrive on independence, problem-solving and making a real impact – every single day.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilising your skills and experience to lead a team of Service Representatives across our growing New South Wales operations
- Managing team performance, development and ensuring that resources are utilised in a way that enhances delivery as you utilise Schneider tools and adhere to set processes
- Frequently interacting with our Customers, focusing on account management and the development of new business opportunities within a market that is full of opportunity
- Collaborating with a variety of key stakeholders to drive Customer outcomes and ensure ongoing growth and success across a variety of emerging markets
- Playing a key technical role and acting as a role model when it comes to best practice across systems,
internal processes and the utilisation of tools that support a digitally focused organisation
- Providing regular reporting and insights in relation to project status, business performance, financials and other key metrics
- Contributing to workforce planning, the management of Subcontractor resources, involvement in special projects and leading other proactive business improvement initiatives
- Role modelling HSE, Quality and committed to nurturing future talent through apprentices and the broader development of your team
Our Ideal Candidate
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Electrician or similar Technical Trade) coupled with proven experience in a similar leadership position
- Proven leadership capabilities and experience in managing technical resources, ideally within a similar organisation/market (Services, Maintenance etc.)
- Well‑developed project management skills and demonstrated experience across operational delivery in support of diverse technical projects and related Customers
- Intermediate IT skills, confident in your proven ability to leverage data to shape decisions, generate reports and provide specialist commentary when required
- Well‑developed problem‑solving abilities, strong on the technical but also someone who can achieve outcomes through people within a high‑tempo environment
- Those with additional qualifications (Project Management, Engineering etc.) will be viewed favourably
