Baker – Brumby’s Bakery Ooralea

Full‑time Baker role based in Ooralea, QLD.

Requirements

- Work schedule: Monday to Sunday mornings.
- Minimum 1 year relevant bakery experience.
- Fully qualified baker with trade certificates.
- Expected salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year.

Responsibilities

- Produce all breads, sweet and savoury products as requested by the franchise.
- Calculate and weigh ingredients for all dough types.
- Mix, scale and mould all bakery products.
- Operate all bakery equipment and machinery safely: 6‑deck ovens, bun rounder, moulders, small and large mixers, prowers, D‑20.
- Read daily production sheets and order book.
- Fill in production records as required.
- Handle all goods and manage stock control in accordance with company guidelines.
- Comply with daily,



weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and routines; record books are provided for cleaning to be signed off.
- Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines.
- Follow instructions given by head bakers, front staff manager, business owner and franchise members.
