About us

Tamborine Mountain Vet Surgery is a well-established and highly regarded veterinary practice that has been proudly serving the local community for many years.

We are part of a group of four clinics located across Tamborine Mountain, Canungra, Yarrabilba, and Pimpama however, this role will be based exclusively at our Tamborine Mountain clinic.

Our clinics are equipped with modern facilities and technology, including IDEXX Laboratories in-house laboratory equipment, dental radiography, ultrasound, and more. We utilise Ezyvet to support efficient, high-quality patient care.

Location and Lifestyle

Tamborine Mountain is located right on the Gold Coast’s doorstep, just a 30-minute drive away, and approximately an hour from Brisbane. Yet, once you arrive, it feels like you’re a world away. Nestled within the beautiful Scenic Rim, this picturesque mountain community is rich in history, surrounded by breathtaking national parks and lush rainforest, and offers an abundance of local food, wine, and indulgent experiences with its many renowned wineries and boutique offerings.

The Role

We are seeking a Full-Time or Part time Veterinarian to join the supportive team at Tamborine Mountain Vet Clinic. Working Tuesday to Saturday, this role offers a varied caseload across both consultations and surgery.

You’ll be joining an experienced and collaborative team of veterinarians, nurses, and client care staff who value teamwork, knowledge sharing, and providing exceptional patient outcomes. With a varied caseload and a loyal client base who are genuinely invested in their pets’ wellbeing, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia or willing to obtain.
- 1+ years’ experience in either consult, surgery or both
- Ability to work with fellow team members and build rapport with clients.




- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and effectively balance competing demands in our busy veterinary surgery.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement to manage time flexibility to ensure competent clinical case and resource management.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the capacity and confidence to deal professionally with a diverse range of people at all levels.
