We are looking for a Statutory Planner to join our team following an internal secondment opportunity within Council. The role is a Band 5 position suited for someone newly stepping into planning or seeking a positive change. You will work on a variety of planning applications while being supported to develop your statutory planning knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities
- Review planning applications and prepare recommendations.
- Draft plans and report to senior officers and the community.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in providing quality advice to the community and support service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Formal planning qualification or actively pursuing one.
- Aptitude to learn, friendly and willing to assist all.
- Willingness to work from a dedicated office environment with flexibility to work from home where operationally possible.
