**About the Venue**:
Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach is a premium 4.5-star resort style hotel overlooking the beautiful, white sandy beaches of Brighton-Le-Sands and Sydney's picturesque Botany Bay. The hotel is nearing the end of an extensive refurbishment and on track to be one of the best food & beverage, accommodation & event venues in NSW.

As Brighton-Le-Sands most exciting new venue, we are excited to bring you on the next stage of our journey, launching an expansive venue including multiple bars, food offerings, a beach club and over 300 accommodation rooms overlooking the beautiful Brighton Beach.

**About the Role**:
Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach is seeking an In Room Dining Attendant to join the Food & Beverage Team. The attendant must be passionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated, eager to interact with both guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds and locations. The attendant’s accommodating personality, combined with a natural ability to provide engaging experiences for our guests will help the right person succeed in this role. You will be responsible for the efficient running of the shift through varied tasks including taking orders, running orders to accommodation rooms and clearing trays.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Taking guest food & beverage orders both over the phone,



and using ‘Order Up’ and Micros system to place orders
- Liaise with Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Front Office and Guest Experience teams
- Greeting and serving customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Confident in delivering orders to guest rooms
- Deliver and present guest amenities to guest rooms in a timely manner
- Maintain high level hygiene standards for food handling and presentation
- Removal of serving trays from accommodation floors
- Thorough understanding of menu items and offerings
- Communicate effectively with incoming team for handover

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a similar food & beverage role is preferred but not mandatory
- Robust customer service skills with a warm and approachable demeanour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Evening shifts available from 6pm to 2am or 7pm to 3am

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.23 - $43.72 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 35 per week
