Key Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene assessments and treatments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications.
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and effective hygiene practices.
- Take and interpret dental radiographs (X‑rays)



to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Place stainless steel crowns and remove deciduous teeth within scope of practice.
- Assist in the management of dental emergencies and support a range of clinical procedures.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and up‑to‑date patient records.
- Build strong relationships with patients and contribute to a positive, team‑oriented culture.
- Adhere to infection control standards and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment.
- Stay current with emerging dental technologies, techniques, and best practices through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Qualified and experienced Oral Health Therapist with Adult scope, registered to practice in Australia.
- Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain).
- Ability to work within Australia.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dental team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing patient records and treatment plans.
