APG Workforce are currently seeking a HR Advisor to join our clients manufacturing business based in Wingfield.
The Role:
Assist with the annual performance appraisal cycle, including coaching managers through effective goal-setting
Interpret and advise Managers on Enterprise Agreements (EA) and industrial instruments
Negotiation and implementation of enterprise agreements making sure a cooperative approach is maintained and that all legislative requirements are met.
Assist with the preparation and administration regarding representing the business in Commissions and Tribunals when required.
Advising and leading Managers through employee disciplinary processes, including performance management and terminations
Preparation of formal letters and notices in relation to addressing grievance and performance issues.
Responding to internal complaints in a prompt, fair and thorough manner, including conducting of internal investigations and give advice to managers
Assist managers to manage high absenteeism,
misconduct and breaches to company policy, employment contract or legislation.
Plan and conduct exit interviews
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process
What we are looking for?
Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
Effective communication capability, verbal and written
Bachelor’s Degree in HR/Business or equivalent experience
Previous professional experience as a HR generalist.
Experience with managing IR/ER matters
Robust people agility
Sound knowledge on the Fair Work Act
Skilled experience in a unionized workplace
Knowledge of Enterprise Agreements and Award governed
Must have own car & license due to the travel to Pendle Hill/Bringelly
