Job Description

Harley Magic is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Small Engine Mechanic to join their team in Cairns QLD. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Detect and diagnose engine faults and repair or replace defective parts on small engines such as mowers, all-terrain vehicles, whipper snippers etc.
The capacity to perform maintenance services such as to ensure smoother running of unit and ensure compliance with pollution regulations and refers to service manuals as needed.
Able to Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanical components.
Dismantle and reassemble engine and parts after being repaired.




Using diagnostic tools and testing parts
Positive written and verbal communications skills
Solid diagnostics capabilities

Skills and Abilities:
Certificate III in

Small Engine Technology or equivalent
Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified

Small Engine or ATV/Motorcycle Mechanic
The ability to work in a team setting
